Welcome to The Giving Tree Child Care Center

The Giving Tree Child Care Center is a licensed child care facility located on the third floor of Croydon Professional Center in South Surrey. We offer early childhood education and care for children aged 6 months to 12 years. We believe that quality child care supports the healthy growth and development of the whole child. Every child develops at their own pace and in their own unique way. As educators, our goal is to work with you to nurture your child’s individual growth and development.

Learning Opportunity For Kids
A safe and caring environment

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide a rich learning environment that nurtures children’s creativity, curiosity, and confidence. We believe that every child learns at their own pace and deserves to be respected. Children discover the world through play, and we recognize play as a child’s work. Meaningful learning takes place through developmentally appropriate, child-centered activities. Our educators are responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that offers appropriate challenges and opportunities for exploration. They guide and support children, encouraging their efforts, welcoming their questions, and helping them develop skills and make discoveries. Every child is unique, with individual strengths and potential. Our goal is to support each child’s development in their early years and provide opportunities to succeed. We also value community involvement and work to build positive relationships among children, educators, and parents.

Our Programs

Multi-Age Program

Our multi-age program welcomes children aged 6 months to 12 years. Children enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, including painting, drawing, sensory play, dramatic play, outdoor exploration, and much more. Activities such as circle time, reading, puzzles, building with blocks and LEGO, jungle-themed imaginative play and music encourage creativity, and learning.

Program for Ages 3–5

Our program welcomes children aged 3 to 5 years. Through engaging, play-based activities, children develop their cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional skills. They have fun creating pretend houses, farmers’ markets, and spaceships, as well as exploring science together with their peers. Along the way, they build the skills and confidence to get ready for kindergarten!
